The pruner is specially shaped to allow the blades to open wider and assist in make larger cuts. The razor sharp blades are made of specially hardened SK-5 steel that keeps the sharp edge an extra long time. The blades are offset at an angle to maintain natural hand strength and can be re-sharpened. All metal construction makes the pruner extra durable. The locking latch is at the base of the handles; Simply flip inside during use to keep it clear of the work and then flip back out to lock. The shock absorber reduces the impact on your hand and arms during cuts, allowing all day use with minimal strain and fatigue.
