Tapestry woven wool kilim with envelope motif in natural dyed shades
This handwoven pillow is made largely from wool and plants - woven by hand on upright tapestry looms in Turkey. Wool is small batch dyed by hand, using traditional vegetation sources like indigo, madder root, chamomile, and hazelnut, to name a few.
The back is 100% canvas, which is dyed with same vegetation sources used on the wool.
